About Us

Jimmy's Broadway Automotive was founded by Jimmy McDowell on April 1, 1956. It was originally located at Sixth Street and Tucson Blvd. in the middle of the Sam Hughes neighborhood, as a small service station and auto repair facility. His policy over the years has always been to do a quality repair job at a fair price. He has taught his grandsons, David and Mike the true value of customer service, the way it was back in 1956.

We have carried on this tradition and have modernized it to take care of today's customers. They are just as deserving of first class customer service today as their parents and grandparents were back then.

This has been done by hiring the best ASE Certified Technicians, highly trained Service Advisors, procuring the best parts available, continuous training and making sure the job is done right the first time.

This policy has allowed Jimmy's Broadway Automotive to grow to the 3,200 sq. ft., 8 bay facility with 9 employees that it is today, servicing the motoring public as well as Commercial Fleet accounts.

We feel that the most important asset of our business is our employees and their ability to satisfy our customers' automotive repair needs.

Over the years the business has expanded to servicing most makes and models of vehicles and all repair / maintenance services needed for today's modern automotive repair customers.

Jimmy's Broadway Automotive is a member of and adheres to the strict guidelines and code of ethics of the Automotive Service Association (ASA), and is dedicated to our customers and their automobiles.

Our 24 month, 18,000 mile warranty is highly exceptional in today's market place.



Special Treatment For Our Women Customers

At Jimmy's Broadway Automotive we value our women customers.

In their appreciation of choosing Jimmy's we give all of the ladies a free flower as a small token of our thanks and appreciation for your business. At Valentine's and Mother's day we have very special flowers for our lady customers. Inglis Florist provides all of our flowers.

Jimmy's Broadway Automotive has a 5 day work week - Monday through Friday.

Our shop has 8 working bays with 5 hoists - each technician has 2-3 bays for their work area.

We also have the best equipment and resources available to assist our technicians and advisors to do their job at the highest possible level.
